They did comp me their breakfast buffet but that is another story!
The told me that they had been having problems with the electronic lock on that room and since the hotel was full they could not get me another room. They called maintenance but after 30 min no one arrived. My key would not work and neither did the desk clerks. What was even worse was after I arrived in my room I stepped out for dinner but could not get back into my room. It was not the quality of hotel that I am accustomed to with the Carlson hotels! The carpeting was filthy and the room was no better. When I arrived I was disappointed with how dirty it was. I booked the hotel for 1 night since I had to arrive early and already had reservations for the following 3 nights at another hotel. On this particular trip I was at the Valley Forge Radisson for the IGC East trade show. My husband and I travel a lot for our business and rarely do we get to travel together.
